CARB CONVERSION When I bought the 1994 5.0 HO for my 63 Meteor I didn't want fuel injection so I converted it to a carburetor. It was an easy swap and the only real change that was needed was to have the emissions pipe that ran between the rear of each cylinder head eliminated. I took the heads to my local machine shop and had the holes in each head properly threaded and plugged.
I went with a Holley 4160 600cfm 4 barrel carb and a Weiand action plus intake. This is a good combo for a street car and is well suited for a small-block ford. |
